Nyt for 2022 giver vi dig tre fantastiske nye farver, men beholder de anodiserede forlygter, der allerede har gjort EsseEsse9 til en øjeblikkelig klassiker.
Energica EsseEsse9+ deler teknologien og sofistikeringen fra EGO+ og EVA Ribelle, men er gjort mere velegnet til afslappet kørsel uden de to andre modellers krævende hyperydelse. Bænksædet i retrostil og den afslappede kørestilling gør EsseEsse9+ ideel til kørsel med to personer, og det er det foretrukne valg for langdistance-elektriske vandrere over hele verden.
Som alle vores motorcykler har EsseEsse9+ en eksklusiv funktion: alle tre opladningsmuligheder – Slow Charge Mode 2 eller 3 og DC Fast Charge Mode 4, som alle leveres som standard. Med vores nye EMCE-teknologi betyder dette den længste rækkevidde for enhver elektrisk motorcykel: 420 km (261 miles) byrækkevidde, 246 km (153 miles) kombineret by- og motorvejsrækkevidde og 198 km (123 miles) ekstra bykørsel. Hvis du vil have endnu mere acceleration, skal du vælge RS-versionen.

Besat af ydeevne og off-the-line acceleration? Vælg den nye RS-version for 2021.
EsseEsse9+ RS-versionen er udviklet med implementeret Vehicle Control Unit-firmware og en modificeret drivlinje til at fremskynde acceleration fra en stående start og hele vejen til tophastigheden. En forbedring på over to tiendedele af et sekund fra 0 – 100 km (62 mph) er blevet demonstreret med yderligere tidsbesparelse i hele rækkevidden indtil 200 km/t – 125 mph.
Den eksisterende endelige drivkæde er blevet opgraderet til en Regina 15/44 525 O-Ring Chain for at klare den yderligere acceleration. RS-dekaler vises diskret på den nederste kåbe.

EMCE Motor
Energica unveils the new EMCE Motor and Inverter, a significant step forward in electric propulsion for motorcycles. EMCE is a wholly new HSM motor and inverter exclusively co-engineered by Energica and Mavel.
Motor and inverter now share a liquid-cooling system, resulting in a simpler and more effective design with reduced size and greater thermal efficiency. Riders will really appreciate the benefits: lighter weight and a lower center of gravity for enhanced agility; higher peak performance; increased range especially at higher speeds; and substantially reduced maintenance intervals.

ADAPTIVE CONTROL | Because motor and inverter are developed in tandem, the inverter can provide Adaptive Control. This means it is able to select the right control parameters as they vary: the torque required by the vehicle, the engine speed, the operating mode of the system, the temperature and other factors that identify the operating status of the powertrain. Adaptive Control ensures that the inverter can always operate the system as efficiently as possible, while extending the operating limits of the system itself. |
WEIGHT | Engine and inverter are 10 kg (22 lb.) lighter than our previous design, despite providing better thermal efficiency and more power, reducing EsseEsse9+ weight to 256 kg (564.4 lbs.). Handling for the motorcycle is enhanced as the smaller size also ensures a lower inertia of the motor. |
POWER | Continuous power delivered by the motor is the same as before at 109 Hp / 80 kW. Together with the increased acceleration of the RS Version you have equal performance to any other brand of electric motorcycle on public roads. |
RANGE | Weight reduction improves range for any speed, but the real benefit is increased range at higher highway speeds thanks to greater thermal efficiency that brings lower working temperatures for the new EMCE motor. Range therefore increases from 5% to 10% according to riding style. Good news for long-distance commuters! |
MAINTENANCE | Fewer moving parts means less maintenance is needed than for traditional IC bikes. Our current transmission/motor oil change interval is every 10,000 km/6,000 miles. No longer. Transmission oil changes are now only every 30,000 km/18,600 miles and Motor/Inverter coolant every 45,000 km/28,000 miles. Ride and forget. |
WHO IS MAVEL? | Energica chose Mavel to collaborate with for the technical engineering and design of the new EMCE Motor and Inverter because of the wealth of experience of this renowned Italian company in creating and manufacturing electric powertrains of all sizes and applications. It didn’t hurt that Mavel is based in an old hydro-electric power plant in the rugged Valle D’Aosta near the Swiss-Italian Alps just three hours north of Modena with truly stunning motorcycle roads everywhere in their vicinity. |
